El Influjo de los pensamientos
Colombia (2007)
"The liquid distilled from the soul when our bodies overflow with tears—whether in solitude or in company."
This creation delves into the themes of solitude, connection, missed encounters, and the silence that lingers in broken communication. Three dancers embody parallel stories, each experiencing isolation and interaction in their own way. Though their realities unfold independently, they are bound together by shared symbols and poetic imagery, converging within a metaphorical and evocative structure.
The narrative unfolds as a journey through memory, presenting different times and spaces within the same stage. The entire performance takes place over a water mirror pool—a visual metaphor for the way our thoughts continuously ripple through reason, emotion, and soul.
Amidst this ever-present fragility, the performers navigate a movement language that is both delicate and intensely expressive, charged with raw emotion and striking contrasts.
