Understanding the Kundalini Yoga Class Structure

Each Kundalini Yoga class follows six fundamental steps:

Tune-In to open a sacred space and set the intention,

Warm-Up to prepare the body, and

Kriya, a dynamic sequence of postures, breathwork, and movement targeting specific aspects of your physical and energetic system. Kriyas are Energizing & Detoxifying Sequences designed to release tension, clear emotional blockages, and strengthen the nervous, glandular, and musculoskeletal systems. The practice then moves into

Deep Relaxation (Savasana), allowing integration through rest or a gong bath, and concludes with

Meditation to expand awareness and seal the experience. We close by chanting

Long Time Sun, a sacred blessing to uplift and complete our practice in harmony.
